echo is the soft one. a heavyweight 360 GSM hoodie in warm cream, the color of milky tea and old paper. on the front, almost nothing: the word hermeburr, with a full stop after it, set small on the chest in plain black type. calm, clear and sure of itself.

then you turn around, and the name is everywhere. across the back, hermeburr again and again, stacked down the fabric in white, in grey, in black, some of the letters chunky and cracked like they’ve been stamped a hundred times, some plain and clean, with little hand-drawn stars flickering off the corners. it reads like a voice repeating itself down a long hallway, each time a little different.

the fit is boxy and oversized, with dropped shoulders, a deep kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem to hold the shape. the hood is big enough to hide in. wear it with baggy jeans, over a plain tee, or with the hood up when you’d rather listen than talk.
